Brazil iPhone

Brazil Company sells cellphone with iPhone name

SAO PAULO (AP) = It's not your Apple's iPhone.

Brazilian Company sells the cellphones with Apple's iPhone brand name. Brazil's Gradients SA won the legal right to use the iPhone brand name in Brazil. Adding insult to Apple inc's injury. Apple would pay Gradiente for the use of the brand. According to the word of president of Brazilian telecommunications, Mr.Eduardo Tude, he told that the Apple company would agree because it didn't want to stop their product in Brazil market. Apple spokeswoman Maria Parra Rodriguez said the company would not comment on that matter.
Gradiente wrote on website that its iPhone sells for 600 reals (USD 300). It is 3.7 inch touch screen, Bluetooth, dual chip capability, Wifi, Camera and 3G features as the Apple's iPhone have. It runs relatively old 2.3 version of Android .
